Course Description

Once a Marijuana Establishment (ME) or Medical Treatment Center (MTC) licensee is designated a “Responsible Vendor”, all new employees involved in the handling and sale of marijuana for adult and/or medical use must successfully complete a Responsible Vendor Training program within 90 days of hire.
The training must be tailored to the roles and responsibilities of each ME or MTC Agent's job function, and each ME and MTC Agent must receive eight hours of ongoing training annually.  Starting in July 2022, all 8 hours of annual RVT training must be from a licensed RVT Trainer.

Responsible Vendor Training  + Certification is presented using rich media and interactive slides. For more detail on the course, view the course curriculum.

Note: Successful completion of  Responsible Vendor Training does not automatically result in certification. A passing score of 70 percent or greater on the final quiz is a minimum requirement for certification. Students receive further instructions about the testing procedure when they register.
